Health – Quality of life

gvc neuro & emo analysis services

Neurological disorders, like ALS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease, pose a strongly increasing problem in the Western world. Good Vibrations Company (GVC) is dedicated to Emotion Recognition by Voice analyze and has developed various applications to real-time assess emotions by using the GVC Emo Analysis Service.

Vocal cords

The vocal cords are small muscles which are directed by specific nerves. Small changes in the emotional state of a person result in clear and measurable changes in the voice.

Small changes in the direction by these nerves due to a neurological disorder like Parkinson result in a similar way in measurable changes in the voice. This may be of great value for the early detection and rapid diagnosis of these diseases. It may also be used to personalize and improve the treatment.

A brief sample of the voice of the patient processed by the GVC Neuro Analysis Service can be used to determine the optimal dose of medication; this is very critical in Parkinson’s Disease. This Service can also be used to monitor the status of the patient and progress of disease, even from a distance. This may improve the quality of life of the patient.

Robotics

GVC Neuro & Emo Analysis Services may also be applied in Robotic in the care environment.

These robots may interact and communicate with elderly persons and patients; they may tune in to the emotional state of the person and again monitor their status or even flag a disturbance to care givers.

Personalized and optimized diagnostics and early intervention

These applications contribute to more personalized and optimized diagnostics and early intervention in elderly and patients with neurological disorders and increase the quality of life!
